Understanding By Design

  1. Anna you have a very clear lesson goal & a good, broad Enduring Understanding statement.
    My only question is, will students already have the general idea of how to add (with maybe objects)and be focusing on the number sentence aspect?
    I would maybe take away one of the standards because it might be hard to cover that many (or the first one could be a prerequisite)

    I liked the lesson and your overarching goal because math really is always around us. My only question is, what is the difference between "identifying numbers 1-10" in the knowledge column and "reading numbers 1-10". Is the difference being able to read the actual number and knowing what the number represents? Just curious.
